1. Shipping and Delivery/Wasted Delivery
At Artistic Muse Interiors, we aim to provide our customers with a seamless and hassle-free delivery experience. To achieve this, we work in coordination with manufacturer guidelines and policies.
Free Standard Shipping within the United States is available for all orders. Our courier company will notify you one day prior to delivery. DHL handles a majority of our deliveries, and all deliveries are trackable via a tracking link. If the customer isn't available to accept or refuses delivery, wasted delivery charges will apply.
Orders for items in stock are delivered within 3-5 working days of order receipt, subject to availability of stock. We will inform you of the tracking number of the shipment. If you require further assistance, you may email us at info@artisticmuse.net.
Delivery of the order is deemed to be completed once it has been delivered. We will take reasonable steps to deliver the order within our standard delivery window. Occasionally, delivery may be affected by factors beyond our control, and we cannot guarantee it. If we become aware of an unexpected delay, we will let you know and arrange a new delivery date with you.
We cannot be held liable for late delivery as these are handled by third-party courier companies. If you fail to take delivery of the goods as specified by us, we will invoice you for the wasted two-way delivery cost and an admin/handling fee. We may then resell or otherwise dispose of part or all of the goods and pay you for any excess over the price of the goods or charge you for any shortfall below their price.
In the unlikely event of traffic or congestion, arrival of your order may be delayed. We aim to keep you updated on any delays of which we become aware but we can't be held accountable for the delay itself as such events are outside our control.
We cannot be held responsible for any delivery failure due to road closures, parking restrictions or any other reason preventing access by the delivery vehicle and driver at the delivery address.
If the order is lost in transit, we will refund you the value of the order. However, we cannot be held responsible and accountable for any subsequent losses, contractual or consequential losses arising as they are your responsibility or at your risk.
Wasted Delivery
We aim to enhance operational efficiency and cut down on non-productive and administrative issues of any wasted delivery. We will levy charges for the wasted delivery that cover the following scenarios:
- Unsuccessful deliveries due to wrong address details.
- Unsuccessful deliveries due to unavailability (despite being pre-notified).
The charges will be recovered and must be paid before rescheduling the delivery.
2. Returns
We want our customers to be happy with their purchase. If you receive a product that you are not completely satisfied with, please follow our return policy:
- All returns must be in the original packaging and in the same condition as received.
- All returns must be submitted with complete evidence and information within 2 working days of delivery. A picture of the defect and packaging box must be included with your submission together with a brief explanation of the issue. We do not consider evidence submitted outside the agreed deadlines. Send evidence to info@artisticmuse.net.
- The returns processing time is 2-5 business days.
- The courier company will only collect the returned product from the registered shipping address (meaning, the original delivery address). Under no circumstances will the product be collected from another address. This safeguard is in place to inspect the product at the original address to avoid any possibility of breakage in subsequent transits.
- If the product has been moved to another address, the return stands void.
- Any products returned without authorization will not be credited in any manner.

5. Sale or ReturnAll our artisan products are hand-crafted individually and imported from Northwest India. Most of our products are hand-made from solid wood, which means that variation in size, color, finish, texture, natural grain pattern, knots, movement of timber, etc., are an integral part of the way products are naturally made and promoted. We strongly recommend that you have made yourself fully aware of the nature of our offered hand-made solid wood products to avoid any disenchantment at a later stage.
Solid-wood Furniture Defined — Solid wood furniture constitutes the majority of solid timber as opposed to substitutes such as MDF. This makes it sturdy as well as long-lasting. The following attributes are considered part and parcel of our handmade products. This is not an exhaustive list:
- Different shades of wood or finish.
- Slight design difference from picture, such as the carving is not exactly the same as the published picture.
- Small filler marks, as long as the extent of filler does not cover a high percentage of the piece.
- Dimension differences within acceptable levels. This applies to the positioning of shelf or product height, etc., and not just overall dimensions.
- Two pieces not being exactly the same. We suggest that if a customer wants to ensure exactly matching pieces, they must order "bespoke" products.
- Fabric orientation, where the pictures on

Our handmade solid wood furniture is crafted individually by artisans from Northwest India. As each product is handmade from solid wood, there may be natural variations in size, color, finish, texture, natural grain pattern, knots, movement of timber, etc. These variations are an integral part of the way our products are made and should be expected.
Please make sure you are fully aware of the nature of our handmade solid wood products to avoid any disappointment later on. We regret that we will not treat any of the above variations as defects, as they are natural occurrences.

10. Modern Slavery/Human Trafficking/Forced Labor Disclosure
Our manufacturer/factory is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. We have partnered with artisan handcrafted furniture suppliers who support the fight against modern slavery and actively work to prevent it through training and policy implementation in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act of 2015 and Slavery and Human Trafficking policies.
Our trusted suppliers ensure that all factories and suppliers follow all forced labor regulations and take steps to prevent human trafficking and slavery. If any poor labor practices are discovered or reported, engagement to improve them will take place. However, if the supplier cannot improve the situation, Artistic Muse LLC and it’s supplier will promptly terminate contractual links with that factory/supplier in significant circumstances.
11. Product Care/Maintenance
Wood-Our handcrafted furniture is made from solid wood, which is a living material that requires proper care.
To keep your furniture looking its best, it is important to avoid placing it near radiators or in direct sunlight. Additionally, we recommend using bee's wax to polish non-painted parts of your furniture on a regular basis to maintain its shine and prolong its lifespan.
Natural wood is not resistant to water or heat, and it can be damaged by chemicals. Therefore, we advise you to use a coaster to protect your furniture and clean up any spills immediately with a lint-free cloth. By following these care instructions, you can ensure that your custom furniture will remain in excellent condition for years to come.
Upholstery-To keep your upholstered furniture looking its best, we recommend gently vacuuming the fabric with an upholstery brush on a regular basis to remove household dust and debris. For overall maintenance and to prevent premature wear and fading, it's important to clean the entire piece regularly.
In the event of a spill or stain, do not rub or massage the affected area, soak the fabric, or let it dry. Instead, use a clean, damp cloth to gently blot the stain and absorb as much moisture as possible. Remember to give your cushions a good shake every week or so to maintain their shape and prevent flattening.
To prevent color fading, it's best to keep all upholstered furniture pieces away from direct sunlight.
Rugs & Carpeting-To keep your rug or carpet in good condition, we suggest using a vacuum cleaner with a suction function for regular cleaning. If there are any minor stains, clean them with a damp cloth. Avoid machine washing or dry cleaning your rug or carpet, and be sure to clean up any spills immediately.
If a spill occurs, place the rug on a flat surface and blot the liquid with a dry absorbent cloth or white paper towel. If a stain cannot be removed, it is best to seek advice from a specialist cleaner and avoid using harsh chemicals as they may cause damage to the rug. Additionally, it is important to avoid direct exposure to sunlight to prevent color fading.
Please be aware that shedding of fibers is a natural property of wool carpets, even those made of a combination of wool and cotton. Regular vacuuming will help remove any excess fibers. Some rugs may also experience pilling, which can be remedied by using sharp scissors to trim any longer strands, taking care not to pull them out.
When you first unroll your rug, you may notice creases or lines running across the width of the rug. These creases and lines are not permanent and will gradually fade with normal use and regular vacuuming.
Packaging-Our carpets are packaged to guarantee their cleanliness and protection during transportation. The carpets are carefully wrapped around a sturdy cardboard tube and covered with protective material on both ends to safeguard the edges. A plastic layer is then placed over the material to provide additional protection. Two cardboard pieces are placed beneath the string to prevent any damage to the carpets during shipping. To ensure safekeeping, the carpets are then placed in a reusable drawstring bag.
After unrolling the rug, it is typical for it to take some time to lay completely flat. This is not a defect, but rather a temporary condition until the rug adapts to its new shape. The rug should gradually flatten over the first few weeks until it lies completely flat.
